I'm assuming this would go under real trains, since this is all real stuff.  My dad is in his 80's, so is his best friend, Elmer.  Elmer spent 42 years with the Southern Pacific.  He ended his career as Yardmaster of the SP Bayshore Yard near San Francisco.  His son, Randy, has been a UP engineer for over 30 years.  Well...Elmer came to visit me on my lunch hour at work.  He brought me some fun railroad memorabilia.  He gave me a baseball cap from the Roseville, CA (rail yard) service unit.  He also brought two items from his son, Randy.  The first was a manual called, "Union Pacific Railroad System Special Instructions."  He also brought me a pair of UP still-in-the-package railroad gloves.  I had no idea that UP had their own gloves...with their logo on it!  It was some pretty cool stuff.  Then Elmer told me some railroad stories from "back in the day."  It was a lot of fun!  Matt
