Good afternoon Forum readers.

In 2004 I purchased 6 Lionel passenger cars repainted in the New Haven RR livery from a local hobby store in Westchester County, NY. The boxes have stickers on them indicating that they were "Custom Painted Trotta's Trains and Things 908-236-7099".

It looks like a unique paint job to me. Has anyone else seen passenger cars painted like this? Do these stickers on the boxes look familiar to anyone who purchased an AT repaint? I'm trying to determine if her group actually painted the cars.... or not.

I sent Angela Trotta an email probably over a year ago and never got a response.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Ron

Those cars are painted by John Trotta of Trotta's Trains and Things.  Absolutely no connection to Angela Trotta Thomas the artist.  Two totally unrelated businesses.

Aha, thanks for the info. I did a search on the Forum for John Trotta, and picked up a  very old thread (2012) that has an email address for him. I sent out an email. Will see if it bounces back or not.
