I’ll stake my claim here and gladly proclaim this as one of if not the best hobby shops in the country. Wonderful group of guys and tons of pieces for just about every hobby you can think of.
It’s well worth visiting just to mess up Tim’s display of rolling stock alone 😉

I've been doing business at Berwyn's for at least 20 years. They are knowledgeable in all aspects of model railroading. A genuine resource for for hobbyists, kids, collectors, etc... I have had all of my post-war Lionel equipment repaired/ refurbished here. The Atlas, MTH and Lionel selection is phenomenal.
The fellows at Berwyn's are great to do business with. I have found all of them to be very friendly, honest and professional.

I just started visiting Berwyn's after moving here recently and this store was my first train store stop. Super organized train store and more stock with Lionel, MTH, Atlas. Love the O gauge section in the back. Very clean store and there is always someone available to answer any questions. Definitely will be my go-to store. Thanks to the guys at Berwyn!

Some time ago I took some pictures with my Google smart phone inside the store, I think its #2 of most viewed pictures in Google Maps or whatever its called, Blik Art in Evanston being #1, and maybe Mr. Muffins in Atlanta as #3. Good for lots of "internet points".
I have not been in the store for many years, but I did frequent it when I was traveling often to Chicago for work. It was a fantastic store in those days where I found many treasures. I want to visit there again bit since it is 2000 miles away it will be a while.

This place is great. I went there today and bought a MTH Premier Wisconsin Central engine that really stood out to me. It is not overly convenient for me but a nice day for a ride in the car.

Absolutely. A gorgeous model. I will run it later. I had not been in the shop in several years living up in Winnetka, but today was just to gorgeous not to get out. I saw them running in Green Bay years ago. MTH hit a home run on this model.
