That is about a 15 miles north of me. If the rain ever stops, I might drive up tomorrow after church and have a look. Hulcher, the train wreck cleanup folks, are on the site, but rain and muddy conditions are making for a slow cleanup. No BNSF trains have been through here since the wreck, and I doubt if we see any for at least another couple of days. A lot of trackage washed out.

It is starting to get out of hand with all the train crashes. It seems like every other day you hear about something bad regarding trains. It is not just freight trains it's passenger ones to. Even if the railroad is in the right it never looks that way on the news.

We really ought to do something about the this "weather"!
Doesn't really look that bad. Just a bunch of containers strewn around. The problem is that those containers were the ones with the latest shipment of Lionel trains coming in from the port of San Diego.

Thank Providence that some fool on this Forum did not suggest an above grade, open road Monorail as a solution to at grade conflicts.
