I remember reading that the MTH Crocodiles had been delivered to Europe and the MTH website is still showing a September delivery date; the question remains when will they be delivered in the U.S. and what year? My string of beer wagons have been patiently waiting for that special engine to pull them.

@flmtrain...well sorry I'm in the same boat...awaiting my 3 rails example (wonder if this is the issue with the late delivery in North America). The pic above was found on the Bay (were a few are up for sale..2 rails version).

Found this other one...note the missing pilot wheels (as delivered..)

Also something I never pay attention before is that the PFA is the one of a passengers trains and not freight ( as I though it will come with...)...maybe that mean that MTH will offer some matching Swiss passengers cars in the next decade..

Thanks for the information. I never do Facebook and so I was unaware of the changes. It is obvious that MTH should also update that same shipping information on their own website. The shipment date for the Crocodile has  been a moving target since 2010 and so I guess the prediction of 2014 isn't that farfetched!

LaFondue: I too would like to see a picture or video of what arrived in that box!

I know what you both mean about pre-ordering. I did get the Cargo electric and its very nice. I have been on the other end too, didn't pre-order it then the item came out and I could not buy one except if I would pay additional money, like eBay. You just never know how long it's going to take for the item to come in so it's the waiting game. Hope we all don't have to wait much longer for the Croc.

Once again the guys at MTH can not decide what the minimum curve for this engine is.

In the 2013 Vol.1 catalog the next issues of this engine says minimum curve is 054.

On their website and speaking to the number 2 guy at MTH he assured me that the minimum curve is 042 for 3 rail 0  gauge track. I operate on 048 so if the engine does not go around 048 back the engine goes to MTH.
