Knowing that L&N had their 2-8-4 M1 (Big Emma) locomotives made at two different manufacturers. Their first batch came out the Baldwin shops (#1950 - #1969). And the remainder came out of Lima (#1970 - #1991).
Did they look exactly alike? If not, what were the differences? Did L&N have a preference to liking one builder's version above the other?
Has any "O" scale manufacturer ever made a good model of Big Emma?
