I'd like these little guys for my 18056 Hudson, as they have a classic look and remind me of the Century Club 773 and Gold-Plated Centennial Hudsons that they were used in. Unfortunately though, only the sitting fireman figure seems to be available from Lionel or Brasseur. The standing engineer is nowhere to be found. Any idea where else I might find him?

They have indeed had odd and obscure parts I needed in the past, but this time around no luck. Also checked Trainz and Brasseur, and it's the same thing, they only have the sitting fireman. Anymore ideas?
Arttista makes a few different enginners and firemen and they are top of the line as far as looks. If it doesn't have to be Lionel these are worth a look. I' ve been following the progress of your project Hudson. Looks like it will be one nice engine.
I definitely want these specific figures. I have to keep up my reputation with Lionel and other parts dealers as "that stubborn guy who's always looking for the weirdest parts" 
As for the Hudson, I just realized I'm currently modelling 5344 as she appeared during a major backshop overhaul!
