I herd of a train show held 2x a year at the Hawley PA Fire Department.

With an entrance fee of $3.00 it can't be that big but I was wondering if anyone has attended this show. The next one is coming up on April 28, 2019, the next one is October 6, 3019. Both shows are on Sundays.

Thanks in advance for your imput in this show.

I’ve been meaning to check out this show for a number of years since I technically live in Hawley (at least according to our friends at the USPS - I actually live in the next county). I always seem to have something else going on the day of the show... this time, i’ll Be recuperating from a knee replacement!!! I was up in Hawley earlier today and checked out the Fire House. It isn’t that large, so I am guessing the show isn’t that big. Here’s a pic of the site...

I am assuming the show will use the three engine bays. If you do go, this is sitting at the corner where you turn on to Columbus Ave.

If anyone does go, I hope you’ll post a review.

Is the NYC caboose still there?  TYIA.

My wife and I went to the show yesterday. It's a small show but it's about the closest place to purchase trains to where I live (about an hour) . It's a small show but believe it or not, I found more than I really wanted to buy, as I am saving for York. I found some N-Scale items  that I actually needed! As far as O scale and Lionel are concerned I thought most of the prices were fairly high or at the least I didn't see many bargains for anything worth buying.

They had two layouts on display, an s gauge and a beautiful 4x8 N Scale layout that I could only hope to emulate!

As far as I'm concerned it was a show worth going to!

Btw: The hot dog was good too!

I haven’t been up that way recently, but I will be there on Wednesday - I’ll check it out. Hawley is the south end of the Stourbridge tourist line which runs from Honesdale.

We had a house on Lake Wallenpaupack for many years, so I saw this building many times.  I never knew there was a train show there, must have missed those weekends.   One of my favorite restaurants is there, The Settler's Inn.

The Settler’s is still there and still good. The family has been expanding their properties in the last few years and now have several restaurants in the area.

Unfortunately, the caboose was not there today. It may have been moved up to the yard behind the Wayne County Historical Society in Honesdale where they hold some other equipment… I’ve been meaning to get up there for a visit now that the museum is now open again (but only a couple of days a week). I’ll let you know if I find it
