There is a possibility that we will be able to offer a special limited and autographed, edition of the Lionel Nickel Plate Road Alco PA set, with road number 190. Time is short, as BTO orders must be in next week, so anyone interested, please contact  todd@4449,com  .

A few questions, if I may.

1. Who is "we"?

2. Who/why is it being autographed?

3. What are the features of the item you're offering? Legacy? A-A or A-B?

4. What price? Is full payment required up front?

5. When are they scheduled to be delivered?

6. I'm not sure if "www.todd@4449,com" is supposed to be a website or an e-mail, but right now it's neither.

A little more information might help, especially if you're trying to generate interest and orders within a week's time.

No to the autograph idea, but...

Since this is not another steam engine, but rather a colorful diesel, there might be some interest if something from the original engine (current rebuild) could be incorporated into/on to the Lionel model.

Paint first comes to mind. If there was some way to confirm that the paint used on the real 190 was/is the exact same paint batch that was used on the model that might carry some weight as to the "exclusiveness".

Outside of paint, I can't think of anything that would scale down to a model.

Just a thought.

Okay here's the deal.  This is a fundraiser for the friends of SP 4449. This will be the product that Lionell is shipping that is in the catalog the price is the retail price. Orders need to be in next week and deposits taken for half the price these will be signed and numbered according to when deposits are taken and first to send the emails.whether you would like the engine signed or the box signed or a certificate signed it doesn't matter we are not charging a premium on this you're buying it at the retail price. If you have any questions send me an email.  I am on the road this week and will be back in Portland on Friday
