There is a possibility that we will be able to offer a special limited and autographed, edition of the Lionel Nickel Plate Road Alco PA set, with road number 190. Time is short, as BTO orders must be in next week, so anyone interested, please contact todd@4449,com .

A few questions, if I may.
1. Who is "we"?
2. Who/why is it being autographed?
3. What are the features of the item you're offering? Legacy? A-A or A-B?
4. What price? Is full payment required up front?
5. When are they scheduled to be delivered?
6. I'm not sure if "www.todd@4449,com" is supposed to be a website or an e-mail, but right now it's neither.
A little more information might help, especially if you're trying to generate interest and orders within a week's time.

Is it scale size.
Thanks, correction made.
Is this the engine HW?
That is the real #190, yes. Lionel has already cataloged an A-A set (I believe it is A-A) for these NKP PA units, but I have no idea when they are to be delivered.
The price would be the MSRP as shown in the Catalog.
A separate Autographed parchment or wall plaque, with a serial number on the engine frame would be cool.
I purchased the new Lionel Legacy 765 this past year and having the autographed parchment of the 765 team was nice.
But nobody draws on my trains!
Who is going to autograph it? Joshua Lionel Cohen? Maybe Harvey Alco?
Where do they write, on the roof, the side, the nose?
Sounds like a silly idea to me.
Who is going to autograph it?
The man who owns the real NKP 190.
Joshua Lionel Cohen?
I've never met him.
Maybe Harvey Alco?
Never heard of him.

Were would you like it autographed?
Sounds like a silly idea to me.
Well, I guess that's one opinion.
I'm not sure I'd be interested. I certainly don't want an autographed engine. I think J Daddy has the correct idea as a separate parchment aka the 765. BTW no offense to the fine team on the 765 but the signature piece for that was not a selling point for getting the engine.
No to the autograph idea, but...
Since this is not another steam engine, but rather a colorful diesel, there might be some interest if something from the original engine (current rebuild) could be incorporated into/on to the Lionel model.
Paint first comes to mind. If there was some way to confirm that the paint used on the real 190 was/is the exact same paint batch that was used on the model that might carry some weight as to the "exclusiveness".
Outside of paint, I can't think of anything that would scale down to a model.
Just a thought.

Todd L,,
What is your full name and address and phone number? When we were in business, I always used the phone to conduct business. Our customers actually preferred it. Also, why does someone have to pay 1/2 the cost up front?

The Friends of 4449 would have to guarantee the sale that's why a deposit is put upfront. If you wish to pay by credit card please send me an email and I'll be glad to reply with my personal phone.
