I’ve been wondering if there are any clubs or fellow enthusiasts in the Lancaster, Lebanon, Harrisburg area of Pennsylvania. The recent post by Mark Boyce about what they are doing in the western part of the state brought it to mind.

I’m coming across the same issue with finding stuff local to me in Northeastern PA too. Found a neat modular club but it’s an hour drive each way. Seems the weather has been bad every weekend too so it’s even more troubling.

Where in N.E.P.A. are you located? There are a couple of clubs here in the valley.

Just outside of Wilkes Barre.
I hope we get some more responses.
Prrhorseshoecurve, where are you located? I’m very close to exit 266 on the turnpike

We may need to organize little sub chapters scattered out across PA similar to what mark and them are doing out west. I mean after all, we are in the old PRR stomping grounds so I’m sure there has to be others with similar interests.
Jay, the horseshoe curve is awesome! Always loved that region. I had a summer place near Tunkhannock that was on the Susquehanna River at the “Gooseneck” section. Voseburg tunnel is there and further down the line is the Nicholson Viaduct. Not sure why I just mentioned all that but the horseshoe curve just reminds me of up there.
Jay,
I am in Annville(between Hershey & Lebanon). Would love to have a module club. I have a module layout waiting to be set up.
Just need the space and manpower to operate it. I'm also a member of Lionel Collectors Club. My email is in my profile if you want to talk.
Tom
That’s great Tom but I have no idea how to access the profile.
In the Wilkes-Barre area you have the Back Mountain Club in Dallas with O and HO. A little further is my modular group, The Anthracite Hi-Railers. We typically have extended displays beginning at Thanksgiving and ending in mid-winter, depending on our host. We are presently located in the Peebles building at Bill's Plaza at 921 Drinker Trnpk, Covington Twp.
Check us out on Facebook for days and hours. We have been holding Saturday openings from 1-4 P.M. except for Saturday of the Allentown Show. We are hoping to open for few Sundays in the near future. If our host will allow, we would like to stay through March.
Stop by and see us.
Earl
Jay:
Check out the Red Lion PA Model Railroaders, I have been a member going on my second year of members. They are a great group of guys.

Hello Earl. I was at your clubs display 2 weekends ago. It was great!! I took tons of photos and videos and posted several on another thread. Weather was icy this past weekend so didn’t make it back up. I’m hoping to make it there again. I did hear about the Back Mountain Club, I’ll have to check them out some more. Thanks for the tips! Appreciate it!
Thank you Randy, that looks like a good possibility. It’s about a hour away.

Thank you James , that’s an impressive compilation.
Awesome list James! Thanks so much for sharing the information!!!
Jay it looks like we’re set now! Nearest one for me is 1.2 miles away, not to bad. Doesn’t look active anymore but I shall investigate.
There is a huge display of O gauge, HO, as well as S, Standard gauge, and some N at the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown. I’ve been there twice; prior to the pandemic. I don’t know if they are open as of yet.

I also live about an hour away in Baltimore. Though I am temporarily out of commission right now due to health issues, I hope to see you there. The President is Jerry Smith. Contact me through my personal E-Mail for Jerry's contact information. My E-Mail is in my OGR profile.
Thanks Randy, I hope you feel better soon.
