I need a bushing machined out of vinyl plastic rod. It would be 8 mm wide by 7.8 mm long. The center hole is 2.85 mm. I have a detailed drawing and raw materials to make it from.
This is to repair my Darstaed Jinty locomotive.
I did get some commercial quotes from local shops that frankly were rather high. I am certainly willing to pay for someone's services, but would rather not pay the cost of new rolling stock for a plastic bushing.
If anyone is interested in doing some metric lathe work for me, please let me know.
