There's going to be a Fall catalog?
I thought they were going with one catalog per year. Unless the fall will be their annual catalog release time. If that is the case, it makes sense to release it this year. Otherwise, it would be a year in a half between catalogs. Makes sense with the holidays. I like the idea of 1 catalog a year.

I would think the 1225 Scale Berkshires with pricing will be in this catalog. Also the accompanying gold PE passenger cars that were all previewed in the 2013 Christmas Catalog.
Whatever's in it, I'm likely not to make any big purchases. I took them at their word when they said there would be no 2nd catalog this year.

Agree we'll likely see these items recatlg'd. I noticed today on the Charles Ro website that they're already listed for pre-order, but with no pricing yet. ETA is Feb 2014.
Perhaps this will be a 2014 Vol 1 catalog issued in 2013 with products to be delivered in 2014 at the earliest. Rumor also has it that this may the first catalog with premium level products requiring a reservation/pre-order. We'll know soon enough!

On one end of the scale, it could be a full 2014 Volume 1 catalog issued in 4Q2013. At the other end, it could just be a small special announcement style "abbreviated catalog/flyer" that previews products to be delivered in 2014 (with pricing for pre-order). And somewhere in the middle is a traditional 2013 Volume 2 catalog (which we've already been told will likely not be the case).
My guess is we'll see more of the small, special-announcement style mini-catalog. But only Lionel really knows (I hope) what they're doing.
