Next week my wife & I will embark on our 3rd annual Road Trip.  On our 2 previous trips , we went West, as far as Wyoming in 2014 and Texas in 2015.  This year we're headed Northeast to Nova Scotia and would appreciate suggestions for stops of interest to train goobers.  We won't be going any further East than Halifax, so would be interested in places on the Western half of Nova Scotia.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Headed up that way your focus should be on seafood, not trains.

If you're desperate for a train fix though and your route takes you near Bangor, Maine; I'd recommend a stop at the Cole Land Transportation Museum.  They have a Bangor & Aroostook BL2 along with some other railroad related pieces.  It's not all trains but, it is an interesting stop.

I just remember the Bay of Fundy and two sites in New Brunswick from many years ago, driving through the longest covered bridge in the world, at Hartland, N.B. , kind of scary, as above a high gorge, and I met one on-coming car (it was two lane)....hope it is still in existence, and a provincial car museum near Quebec.  No idea now, looking at a map, where it is/was.
