Honestly, everything seems more subdued and slow at the bandit meets thus far.  I know the weather hasn't been ideal, but still the crowd seems much smaller than in past april york weeks.   I haven't seen any crowded tables where the deals were freely flowing, or estate liquidations, etc.  Maybe I've just been in the wrong place.

There was a decent selection of Williams parts and chassis at the Wyndham.  But other than that I got a 2046 shell NOS for 10.00 and a 1862 general and 2 cars for 20.00.

I'm still looking for a Railking Conrail searchlight car with two searchlights.  That would make my show.

Anybody out there found some good stuff or deals

Original Post

At the Wyndham outdoor show the weather was terribly cold with light snow showers threatening vendors to pack up. I did find a Lionel 2435  Elizabeth passenger car (red letters) for $75.00. It was missing a plastic window insert and needed a wire replacement for the internal  lights. Other than that it was in good shape. Very hard car to find at a reasonable price. Inside the hotel, it was pretty crowded with more people socializing and keeping warm than shopping. I also attended the American Flyer show at the Reliance Fire Hall. I picked up a Franklin engine and some rubber track bed.  Next I went to the Commonwealth Fire Hall, where the crowd was light and prices high.  My next stop will be York on Thursday.
