No photos but my LHS has Legos on the layout. When the current owner purchased the store, he inherited a beautifully detailed hi-rail layout. One of the best looking layouts I had seen.

The new owner noticed that while the hi-rail scenery was nice, he wanted an opportunity to show people how much you can do with the trains. As a result, he tore it down and built a new layout. A small section is hi-rail, another section is Dept. 56, another Lego, another with HO trains running around, etc. He uses most of the track from the major manufacturers to allow people to see them in use. It works quite well and has given lots of ideas to people.

Batman

The Batman can be found in various spots on my layout watching over the city.   My children are always placing their Lego figures on my layout.  I don't mind at all.  I think it's fun.  The only rule is that Lego Jar Jar Binks is never allowed on the layout.   They put him in the ceiling looking down on the layout.  It made me laugh.....

Nope. Growing up, my folks couldn't afford Legos, but I did have some basic generic blocks of that type as a kid. Never got into it.

That said, I loved the Lego movie (though I'm sure some of the Lego jokes went right past me) and I did buy the Emmet Brickowski Lego figure and it's sitting on my book shelf. I already had a Krazy Glue lid just like the one used in the movie so I have him leaning on that. But has the figure ever set (Lego) foot on my layout?

Nope.

BTW, John, that's a brilliant use of Legos for that tunnel portal!
