Just wondering if anyone on the forum has bought items from the above vendor? I won an auction on "that" website and want to pay via credit card. I called the 800 number on the ad, but it hasn't been answered since last Thursday evening. I left a recorded message (after ten rings....) with my call-back number, but so far no joy. Have called seven times since Thursday evening.

I am under the impression that Closeout Trains is the Ebay name for the former Island Trains store. The store moved to New Jersey, and is now called "The Model Train Store of NJ".

If this is not correct, I would appreciate someone posting to that effect.

I have not purchased anything from them on EBay. Nor have I made a purchased under the current store name (rarely buy new stuff these days)
Island Trains was one of my favorite dealers when I was buying newly made stuff. They always took very good care of me.

D&H 65:  Sadly, Henry, of Island Trains II aka The Lionel Train Store NJ, has had knee surgery. He is in rehab to work the knee back to full function. I guess most of you know what that entails. I'm sure he is monitoring his e-mails, so you may want to contact him that way:   islandtrainsnj@aol.com    I hope that this will help you.
