Anyone have a Swimming Pool on their layout?

What, no ocean life about?  I didn't think trailer parks were part of the Hawaiian landscape.  

The little folks on my layout aren't as "up town" as the little folks on yours Don.  Mine have to make do with a river and a tire swing.

I had one on the original TMB club layout, Same concept as your but we had some row houses with Small yards so I made the pool out of a Tuna Fish can. sorry I dont have any pictures

I have the pool that came with the Plasicville Playground Set from the 50's

Don't have one, but I think that it is a great idea. I particularly like the lighted effect you had for the pool on your last layout. Are you going to incorporate a pool in your new layout?

Of course I have a swimming pool.

On the layout we (O-Gauge sales guy, high school student summer help and I) built for local toy train shop has an above ground pool with ladies sun bathing around behind gray house.

Nope, don't want to get things wet from my boys splashing around nor want to take that much space from trains.  So the pool goes in the backyard and trains stay on the layout.

Don, that is a very good idea for a great scenic element and it isn't too hard to do either.  I will have to check I think there may be zoning restrictions against above ground pools in my little town.

Thanks, Andy. Yes, a couple of O-rings Krazy glued together with some clear acetate coated with Mod Podge.

So Don, can you let us know if you built a island layout in the middle of the ocean for your new layout or do we have to wait for our new issue of OGR to arrive? I know I can hardly wait to see what you have done I know it will be first class all the way!

I made one that looks a lot like yours, as part of a motel complex. I've also used it on a module as part of a upscale trailer park. I used Arttista figures, includind a diving boy hitting the water, with a small "spray" of cotten rising from the "water".

We did, yours made us bring out the contractor to rebuild.

I know this isn't what you mean Don, but all I have on my layout.  Reason I modeled this way was years ago local kids caught swimming in city water tank by sheriff.
