Anyone have Lionel's North Pole RS-3 Locomotive?

Can anyone who has seen and/or operated Lionel's Christmas North Pole RS-3 diesel comment on its performance, sounds, etc?

Also, if you have the North Pole caboose that was offered at the same time with the RS-3 let me know how you like that.
