Anyone have the new MTH Santa Fe Hudson? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Hi Guys,

Has anyone received MTH's new Santa Fe Hudson (Premier) Product Number: 20-3475-1 First appeared in: 2011 Volume 2. This is the non streamlined styled Hudson.

I was considering purchasing one. It's one of my favorite Hudsons. A short time ago MTH released a model of a Santa Fe Blue Goose Hudson. The sounds of it are fantastic! Do a YouTube search and you will see what I mean. I'am talking about the new Blue Goose which has PS-3.

I wrote to MTH to ask if this new model has been released and received this answer from them:

"Thank you for contacting MTH Electric Trains. We appreciate your interest in our products. I am sorry for the delay in responding to your email. This engine is available now; it arrived in February. And it appears that this engine has a new sound file."

So I asking OGR Forum members if they have received this new model and if they have any videos of it in operation so that I might listen to this new sound file that it comes equipped with. Or to hear from members who have both models for a comparison of them.

I haven't seen one in operation, but I have seen it up close and personal on a dealer's display shelves. It really is one gorgeous model
