There have been a lot of members MIA of late. These posts usually get deleted by the mods without explanation. Apparently a lot of members have not updated their profiles with newly required, verifiable information and have had a temporary block placed on them until their accounts are in compliance. It could be that, though I am just guessing.
It would be nice if the mods would give a heads up before these member inquiry posts go into the nether regions of cyberspace. Just a little tidbit would be nice, i.e., they are blocked, banned, don't wish to contribute anymore, etc.
Jim Pastorius (not Pastoris) used to live within 5 miles of me here in Pennsylvania. The last couple years he spent more and more of his time in North Carolina (I believe it was) with his son. His profile is still active, and I see he last logged in on July 12th. I do not know anything more.
Last I heard Jim moved back to PA. Close to York I think.
I have done repairs for him both in NC and since he moved back.
Ah ha, Southern Crescent! Now I do remember him saying something about that. Well that's 250 miles from Butler!

I have been a posting member of this forum since 2001. I like to maintain a certain level of anonymity online though I do introduce myself in person when at events. I hope this continues but if for some reason I get scooped up in this verification policy I will still be here but as a “lurker”. See you around. BigRail
Same with Elliot in Minneapolis. Have not heard from him, seen any posts of late. We all know he was having severe problems with his hands, hope he reads this and does let us know how he is doing, along with hearing from Jim,..... soon.....

Stillwater, not Minneapolis. Elliot is still reading, based on his profile and last visit data. (He peeked at the forum two days ago.)
Stillwater is close enough. I call it Minneapolis too. I've been to his house. Unbelievable layout. And a great guy. I hope to get back there this spring.
