I would almost say yes... I have a Williams GG1 that got dropped on its front truck, which bent it pretty good.  I used Lionel pilot trucks (front and rear, to match) to replace them, and the only difference was the Williams washer and spring needed a little modification to prevent them from sliding through the slot...

Let us know how you make out!

Thanks,

Mario

The WILLIAMS shells I have used have posts inside that must be ground down for the shell to be tightened down on the LIONEL frame. It can be made to fit but its a pain in the caboose. Sometimes you have to alter the LIONEL frame and that runs into a lot of work.

I'm still looking for pony trucks but not at EBAY prices.  Good luck.

I have the front/rear truck from a Lionel SS GG1. Is that what you are looking for?

Trainman 9 I don't see your email, but yes they'll work for me. Send me an email with particulars.

I didn't mean to hijack  your thread, I just wanted to offer an opinion.

Many years ago at a train show I bought 4 of the WILLIAMS TCA gray shells for a super price. I wanted to put them on some old LIONEL bases, then the fun began. I almost lost my religion!! My mom said she never heard such language or such a temper tantrum. I got the job done          finally and then to a train show they went. somebody now has these fine examples of craftsmanship,,,,,,,,,,or they have beeen junked. Take my advice, be prepared for a real challenge and be able to hand craft some parts.

Thanks for a real good question..

Rod
