I really like the looks of it.

Nope.
Because the model is an LGB fantasy and is actually model of a 30 ton, 3 foot gauge Davenport locomotive owned by the Denver and Rio Grande.

That’s a great paint scheme, and looks to be a super nice switcher. I love LGB and I have an around the room G Gauge layout that even goes through the wall. They are fantastic trains. It’s just under the ceiling, and is fun to run. Happy Railroading Everyone
Atlas/Roco offered a similar (Plymouth WDT) two-rail switcher in the 1970s. It is a good runner and quite powerful without the use of traction tires.

The Atlas model was a six wheel Plymouth WDT.
AHM offered the four wheel Plymouth MDT version. I recall it being a little oversized:
Both locomotives were 2 Rail Scale DC.

What about using a K-line Plymouth switcher?
I remember a store called Sal Marino on Staten Island blowing them out the door at $5.00 apiece. That deal was so good the I rode the train up to NYC and the SIRT to get four of them. This was back around 1978 or so.
The Atlas switcher is a little oversized, but I like mine. I have three that are scheduled for the paint shop one day.
