Just wondering how you would use DCS engines with the ZW-L? Any pro's or cons?

Chris Iam using the ZW L with my TIU and to date have had zero problems and I run command and conventional (using either Z4K Tracks thru DCS remote or the Legacy remote utilizing the ZWL in conventional mode). No bugs or issues in DCS finding engines or building MU's repeatedly. I love the advantage of circuit breaker being thermal and not shutting down the whole system should an issue arise. You have to remenber if you leave the handles on, power will be on, unlike the Z 4000 where you have to re boot handles to gain power. Hope Iam clear.-Don
Hey, Chris -
I have been running my new ZW-L together with two Z4000's to power two TIU's without any problems for about two weeks now. I run DCS and Legacy, individually and concurrently, and they all run fine.
I recently posted a thread about the ZW-L here:

Good luck -

I just got my ZW-L yesterday and I am going to hook it up in place of my Z4000 today. I like the Z4000 as a transformer but having to shut everything down when there is a derailment has really gotten to be a PITA for me. I mainly run DCS and a few TMCC locomotives, all in command only. I also started a thread in the DCS/PS2 Forum asking if anyone has experienced any problems running this combination. It was a couple of weeks ago but you can find it under the activity log under my profile. After I run it for awhile, I will post results on the Forum.
No, but I'm going to. and then maybe you guys can make a day trip here and fix up what I will most likely screw up.
