About a week and a half ago ordered two more PS-2 upgrade kit (one diesel, one steam) from local toy train dealer. When I stop by today they were sitting there waiting for me.

That is indeed good news because people have been waiting a year or more to get them. Personally, I am going to wait on the PS-3 kits as I need to convert a couple of brass engines with Vanderbilt tenders and the smaller physical size of the PS-3 boards will make that a lot easier! I'm still deciding whether I want to take on the job of installing MTH smoke units or stick with the crummy Seuthe units they came with.
Did you know that the new ps3 kits will not have the wireless tether but will have the wire tether like the proto 2 kits.
There are just too many variants to use the wireless tether when upgrading another engine, hence the use of the wire tether.
