Are Genesis locos ever used to pull "The Canadian" | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

The title asks it all. I've ordered a set of 3rd Rail "Canadian" cars in VIA Rail livery, and was intending to pull them with my VIA Rail MTH Premier Genesis locos. But is it prototypical?

I'm not saying it hasn't, can't or won't happen but F40s are the standard power for Numbers 1 and 2. The P42 units are used on corridor type assignments much like the LRC locomotives they replaced.

Thanks Bob, thought as much. I couldn't find any pics of the train with Genesis motive power. Oh well, another non prototypical train on my layout.
