Are husky stacks and well cars the same size in premier as railking?

Railking are smaller I believe. Some older premier gets lowered in reproduction to RK models. That may confuse the answer?

The RK trailers are smaller too (O27).

I have 20 intermodal from RK RTR sets..if the premiere are just slightly larger i can live with that.

There's a big size difference.  I have owned both.

Does anyone know the size difference? Is Premier 3" longer, 2" higher? The container size?

I believe that is what Willgee is asking?

Premier is much larger. I have both and they do not look good together IMO.

Can anyone tell me the total loaded height of MTH Premier Twin Stacks (eg 20-90363)?

The MTH webpage says 3" but this must be the height of the car only or with a single container.

I don't have RK containers. I believe they are O27 or like the older lionel ones.

A RK 40' trailer measures around 8 3/8" long ( although this model 30-76092 maybe mis-labeled as it looks like a 48'?). A premier 40' is about 10" long. A 48' is around 12".

My RK well car measures 13 3/4 length not including couplers.

Containers 8 3/4 L X 2 1/4 high X 1 7/8 inches wide

My RK also measure 5" w/ 2 containers.

In a word, NO.

A premier 40' container is also 10" long.

Thanks for the photo...almost looks like you could mix and match containers for ex. a larger container over a smaller one as you see on the real freights.

Here is the Premier well car with other containers.

I run 2 large loops..outside 3 rail with mixture of scale [sd 40 -2 premier and gp 38"s with RK sd70sm and aces. The aces and sm's are too short for me but they run so well.My inner loop  2 rail all premier motive[5 engine mu plus switchers] and mostly scale freight. I think the scale intermodal will fit in.

I was thinking about one of these stackers, but I only have RK and Lionel containers. The Lionel are the removable trailer containers, smaller than RK. Would one of these stackers come close to looking right? The ad says 1:50.

The ad says 1/55 scale...nice model though.

these are bigger 1/50th.
