I am looking for Williams GG1 pantographs (GG1 scale Engine)
Need 4 of them
Do you have any?
Any idea year this was made?
be careful of those triac's. they tend to melt under high power shorts.
Early 1980's anywhere form 1982-1984
BTW, This custom f7 that I did came from that same timeframe...abeit a single motored unit from the PRR passenger set.
The body shells are ex-Kusan EMD F7 tooling, with the Kusan "humpback" problem resolved (why Kusan did that, I don't know), but still having the improper (for an EMD) nose contours. They're cute, though - and look more prototypical around the windshield
than the Lionel-copy F3's.
Modern, improved (same underneath as the F3's, I guess; flywheels and so on) iterations of these F7's are still being offered and or made - or have been only recently retired?
I bought a set like yours.....look MUCH better when chassis is painted black or body color.
Remember when the diesels came with only a bridge rectifier? You could add a mechanical E unit but that was a super secret at the time. So much so that the ink on my 'mimeographed' dealer instruction sheet disappeared.
