Are you using the W/S power supply on your W/S Just Plug buildings?

I connected mine to the variable DC output on my power pack, same as my other LED lights, and keep the voltage to no more than 9 volts.

Scenic Designs instructions are saying 24VDC.  Is that right?

I have mine connected to transformer with 14V output. Some I run through a hub so I can adjust brightness.

Since the rest of my LED's are off the 9 volt variable DC supply, it seemed worth trying the Woodland Scenics lights on that too. As you can see, the lights are reasonably bright. I don't need them to light up the room, and I'm hoping the lower voltage will help them last longer, considering the trouble I went through to make them look like the old-fashioned shepherd's crook lights.  If there's one thing I wish WS would do, is make the LED's on those street lights replaceable.

According to Woodland Scenics, the buildings should be powered with 16-20VAC or 24VDC or through their hub.  After messing with multiple wall wart power supplies, I am now using an old ATX computer power supply with a breakout board to power all my buildings.  The 24V DC recommendation is not written in stone, as my Smith Brothers TV and Appliance building works fine on any of these DC voltages: 12v, 15.3v, 17v, and 24v.

I use a 12 volt dc power supply that’s from a laptop computer. The 12 volts dc produces a good brightness for me. Right now I have 8 buildings connected to it.

I bought some connectors off of Alliexpress and made my own AC adapter.  I have to power a lot of buildings so I wanted more amps. The WS adapter is kind of weak and I fou hub and one adapter didn't cut it.

As I said before I had a unused computer laptop power supply than is rated for 12vdc at 4amp. This works fine with my buildings. I should be able to power maybe 15 buildings with it so far I am using it with 8 buildings
