It’s an annual event that turns the streets into vendors, displays, and layouts. Most are about trains. Many things to do for the kids and lots of business for the local train store Tiny Tim’s Toys and Trains. Based on some people on the cam, plenty of beer available also. It grows every year.
I see my son on the video. The red caboose trailer on the right of the town clock is our club’s portable trailer, Rappahannock River Railroaders. It was made from a boat trailer and made to look like a caboose. All sides lift up and has a nice O and HO layout. We run LionChief and give the remotes to the kids to run.

Rail fanning included special tickets to take Amtrak to the event from Richmond Main Street Station. Lots of train viewing provided by CSX and Amtrak. CSX personnel on hand to keep people safe at the crosswalks.

Thank you for the information regarding Ashland Virginia. I will say, they really do this train day up in a big way. There might of been more people here than at York.
