That is quite a bit more elaborate than the restaurants I have seen here. Very cool!
Art
Choo Choo diner in Des Plaines, IL uses Lionel trains to deliver food to tables. Unfortunately no beer.
Good morning, there is a restaurant in Baker Oregon named the Sumpter Junction Resturant. The train ran along the wall just slightly above the table height. There was apiece of plexiglass between the train and the table with a sliding door. Your food would arrive on a G Scale Train mostly LGB and stop at the table you were sitting at. You slide open the door and remove your food from a flat car or a gondola.
Sometimes you might be missing a thing or two but it was neat.
The last time I was there the train was still running but the waitress brought you your food.
Might have been one of those things that look good on paper.
Still a neat place to have a meal.
I always wanted to build something like that for parties, but when I was entertaining a lot I was always in government provided housing overseas, and now that I own my own place I don't entertain enough to justify building it. Catch-22!
I put a link up for the Choo Choo diner in my original post. In their case, the idea worked. They have been in business since 1951.

Cool! But that girl looks a little young for that beer...
Different cultures I suppose
That first engine, the steam articulated... was cool. G scale is so neat. Shame it's so dadgum big.
Wonder what happened to the stacks on the EMD switcher? Rough life, that of a waitress/waiter, huh?
