Atlas 054 Dead Spot Issue Need Help

Can you just flip around one of the pickup rollers?  I think this might change your spacing enough to keep one roller always hot.

I wish it was that easy. It was the first thing I thought of. The truck design gives me no room to work. The pick up arm is recessed in the truck frame. Good suggestion otherwise. Thanks for taking a moment to respond. John

I used conductive paint to cover a portion of the roller guard for a similar issue (Different switch)  Make sure paint covers part of the rail so it gets power.

What I had to do with my 7.5 atlas switches is put a relay in to power the dead spots on the switches. As I have changed the switch motors to dz2500s (for the tmcc feature) I use the relay that goes with them. All my engines now traverse the switches with no problems.
