Hello all I am new to the website and had a question. Does anyone have any info on atlas release of this track.I have the nickle silver track on my layout but wanted to use this track for a trolley line Thanks eveyone Sorry folks the track is their 21st century nickle silver and the track that im referring to is the steel track with black ties

Yep, no longer made.
The track was released early turn of the century. Originally it was going to be made for Lionel but Lionel decided on their FasTrack instead. Atlas o marketed this steel track for about three years because of a minority that were complaining their Lionel magna traction locos didn't work as well on the atlas o n/s track. However, due to lack of sales the track was cancelled and the complainers faded away. The N/S track was outselling the steel track by a 3:1 ratio.
But tracks will connect together so it's a preference for black ties or brown ties and fo you have a lot of magna traction locos to run on steep grades?
