Atlas 80W transformer- OK for MTH locos?

I am building a small 4 x 6 layout with 2 independent loops. I already have an MTH z-1000 for one loop. I can get an Atlas 80W transformer with horn bell and direction buttons cheap to use on the 2nd loop. It looks like the one in the photo. I am wondering if it will activate the horn bell and station sounds on my MTH Railking E8.

Yes, this and the identical Williams transformer are, with the MRC Pure Power series, the only truly sine wave transformers for trains on the market now.

The Z-4000 emulates pure sine waves vert closely.
