I just purchased this bridge at York and just realized it needs to be constructed. I am not much of a craftsman and was wondering how hard this bridge is to construct? Thanks,
I purchased mine more than a few years ago. It was not difficult to assemble, just make sure you have a good plastic cement and allow it the proper drying time. This will not be assembled in a day but will allow time for other projects. One thing to keep in mind, it is Atlas track on the bridge platform so if your using track other than Atlas for your mains you'll need to buy adapter pins. I used GarGraves and had no troubled finding the pins at a local shop. Good luck with the build.
The sides and base, (with the two tracks), are pre-assembled There are small pins to assemble these three pieces. The cross members, of the upper structure, require glue. If I remember correctly, the black plastic was ABS not styrene.
