I hope somebody at Atlas is aware that the Berwick 60' Hycube rerun shows a TTX version with out the plug doors painted black, this is a very common car on RRs today and I have not seen one without the doors painted black. With Jerry Kimble gone I wonder who you would contact? hello Rob Pisani!

I'd love to have about 5 of them.....but at $90+ each.....gotta pass......
I'd like two (40 Foot) of the EL MW boxcars and a couple of the Erie. But when and from who?
Roo.
C&O cupola caboose, I'm in for a couple!

Street price should be around 75.00+/-, not inexpensive for sure but a well done car. I will be in for a few as long as the TTX is correctly painted. JMO

I know street price will be lower.....but add shipping and we get real close to the $90. While I am still finding old Weaver 50 box cars that are fixer uppers in the $10 range....I'll keep looking at those. Yes....new Atlas cars are nice...I do have older versions of the Altas 60 ft but at shows they were in the mid $40 range.
Am I out of the loop here? Jerry Kimble is not at Atlas O any longer? Since when did this happen? Thanks in advance....
Yes, Jerry is no longer there.

Hopefully that is the case as I want a couple of these cars, I would like someone from Atlas to verify that the doors will be correctly painted black.
I as surprised to hear about Jerry Kimble. I thought he signed me up for a workshop at York? Where did he end up?
I'm very happy Atlas is bringing this caboose to market. I have very little need or want for freight rolling stock, but this particular caboose was needed in my opinion.
Not only the C&O version, but also I will purchase one of the undecorated versions to paint in the Chicago & Eastern Illinois (C&EI) scheme that Atlas, interesting enough, sited in the marketing short.
For all seven of the C&EI guys modeling in O, the proper C&EI caboose numbers are #1 - #6.

The C&EI scheme was done in HO in the past, so it wouldn't be a stretch to eventually see it in O scale as well.
I'm in for a few X-29 Pennsylvania REA (Circle Keystone) cars. Glad to see Atlas re-issuing these. Now if whoever has the old Weaver PRR B60b baggage car tooling would start producing those I will be very happy.

Unlike Atlas-O's locomotive announcements whose delivery ETA's should more appropriately be noted in StarTrek "star dates" , their track record for delivering rolling stock is somewhat reasonable -- usually within 3-6 months of the initial ETA on the announcement. So it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect these boxcars during 1H2018.
As far as dealers... MrMuffins is a good dealer for Atlas-O pre-orders. No deposit required.

Paul, thanks for the information, and I thought I saw the HO version, but at this point, I think the C&EI scheme is something I can handle as a project. If things go south in terms of my modifications, knowing that Atlas might be making a C&EI version later on, is fine for me as well.
Thanks for taking on this project.

I would like another CORRECT C&O caboose, also. I just wish that Atlas would offer that C&O caboose with and without that "C&O for Progress" logo, for those folks that desire that caboose for the C&O steam era.
I order my Atlas from Nicholas Smith, beats the Muffin out by a few points
I order from Just Trains in Delaware, Julie and Mike have been excellent for preorders and service. I usually try to stop by about every month or so, prices are competitive with most everybody and no deposits on preorders to my knowledge. JMO
