Atlas O Gunderson Stack Car Production

I've tried to compile freight car information from the Atlas web site but I haven't gotten up to the intermodal era.

I found announcements for six production runs of the Gundersons over the last seven years.

I also found those same 6 announcements.  I will try to put something together for the 3-rail side of things.  Atlas O started off by listing road numbers for the cars and seem to have given that up.

Any ideas how I might find those missing car numbers???

E-bay has provided some answers to "what the heck did Atlas make" questions for me.

The only good thing I can say about the Atlas web site is that it makes me appreciate the effort of all the people who did the research to document post-war Lionel production.
