Well, you got to love the internet...and somebody with nothing else better to do on a late Saturday afternoon...
Here is a picture of a former Louisville & Nashville SD40 #1236 that was upgraded to an SD40-2 in CSX Yellow Nose #3...

Thanks for posting this, Steve. You will definitely get my preorder for this engine. Once the road names are posted for the 60' ACF auto parts boxcars I might be in for a couple of those as well.
Same thought here. I'm going to get undec. SD40 and GP15 and go looking for a painter to paint them in Chessie Unless Steve can do a custom run in Chessie? Steve?
I talked with them today - the Chessie GP-15 just might get cataloged....

Where do you find the data on the shipping container dates and cargo? I thought the Trinity Hoppers were coming in Q3.

They told me in their booth in Indianapolis on Friday.....

Its quite possible the container report for these was never posted, there was a long gap between container postings and like the A-Z shipping schedule not everything gets updated on Atlas website.
From the August announcement, even though no road names are given, the 60' ACF auto parts boxcars with the road #s 489940 and 489948 are Baltimore & Ohio. I'll get both if they are in the Chessie paint scheme.
If B&O Chessie System can be put on the ACF 60' box cars, why not also put C&O Chessie System on the ACF 60' box cars in the same run?
Andrew
I have one of each 60' boxcar (Chessie - B&O and Chessie - C&O). I also have 2 B&O and 2 C&O.
This upcoming run of B&O boxcars will be just that, B&O. If they were Chessie boxcars they would've been advertised as such.
I'll pass since this will be the 3rd run of B&O 60' boxcars and if I want to add another I can log on to eBay and find 1 or 2 from the first run for less money.
I missed the C&O Chessie System run.
