In September I installed the Atlas O-Scale oil pump to my layout.  This was the second one I received as the first one was defective and I exchanged it for a new one.  It is currently connected to my AC accessory power and I installed a cutoff switch so the Oil Pump would not operate every time I powered up the layout. For three weeks after it was installed it was working as advertised.  The motor was a little noisy but the sound of the trains drowned out the motor. In late September into mid October I shut down my layout to work on my DC circuit.  This work had no effect on the AC accessory power and I even disconnected the AC transformer during this time.  My work was completed this week and I powered up my layout.  Everything works except for the Oil Pump.  I tested the cutoff switch and it is operating properly,  There are no loose wires and all connections have been soldered.  I have no idea what the problem could be.

Does anyone have similar experiences with their Oil Pump?  It it possible the motor broke so soon after I installed it?  Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Ron
