Atlas SW9 hesitating during operation

I just purchased an Atlas SW9 w/TMCC which had never been run. I ran it for a few minutes and it operated perfectly. After a few more minutes the engine began to hesitate slightly and making a sound like the motor was struggling a bit. Not a grinding sound as if gears were involved. More like between a hum and a slight screeching sound. Any suggestions? Thank you..

Make sure grease and nothing loose. May have to take shell off as something may be rubbing on flywheel. G
