Hi Guys,
A quick search of 40" Atlas 3 rail nickel silver flex track shows a price of around $25.00 per section. Does anyone know of a source of this track for a less expensive price?

Steve, Charles Ro has these at $18.95 each plus shipping. Pat B.
You may quickly find that advertised or listed prices like Ro at $18.95 are misleading because the website has not been updated and the listed track is limited or out of stock. I am building a large layout using Atlas O and searched many places for the lowest price on 40" sections. IF you can find ANY at $18.95 buy as many as you can. You will end up paying an average price of about $22 + shipping.
When the dust clears you will pay $5-$6 per foot for new track and $70 each for O-72 switches. BEWARE THE SWITCHES ! Be certain you buy ONLY the new, more robust, switches with brass wire conveyors. Otherwise, you will go bald.

Thanks to both Pat B and to you Scrappy. I'll be searching around for the best prices. I'll even be looking for used track in good condition. Flex track is the only type of track I need.
Scrappy; best of luck on your new layout!

I recently order a bunch of Atlas Track from T&K Hobby. They have the 40” flex at $20.99, however their shipping is much cheaper than anywhere else I have looked. Their customer service is fantastic and I would recommended them. I would give them a call and see if you can get some bulk pricing.
Basically, what we do is custom quote the track because of the shipping costs..... we send out a spreadsheet and get the customers' needs, then work up the cost and the shipping and send them back a quote..... I have also found Deichman's Depot to be very competitive on Atlas O track prices.....
Thanks for this information!

I haven't needed flex track for years but have had occasion to pick up other pieces. If I have enough lead time I wait until Trainworld has a sale or for CTT to offer a Trainworld 10% off coupon. I will also say that T&K is good to work with.
Track is one item that there is sufficient markup that dealers are able to discount if you are wanting to buy in quantity.

Fred’s Train Shop carries Atlas Track.
Call Fred at the Store to see what he’s charging for the pieces and quantity.
Let him know his website guy referred you.
