Attaching PS3 Wireless Drawbar Retainer

I have a PS3 steamer and need to know how to attach the retainer to keep the wireless drawbar fully seated in the receptacle.

Specifically, there is a white dot on the little black retainer.

How do you attach the retainer in relation to that white dot?
