Those are well done videos, but, all I hear is "More Cowbell"!
Is there anywhere along that line where the engine is actually working?

I'd love to have one--did the Hand on the Throttle at Valley on the 3025 a couple of years ago. Would be one of the few new products I'd like to have.

The trip leaving the station is pretty flat with a slight incline the whole way. Never really does much working. On the way back to the station it's all downhill. Pretty much coasts the whole way.

No, 3025 is actually over kill for there needs.  Engine 97 and 40 really look under size next to the cars they are pulling but handle those trains with no problems.   The Christmas runs are so popular now they run three trains at once now.  All Steam.

While we are on the subject I would be interested in a scale version of the SY class of steam locomotives that the Valley used to create their pretend New Haven 2-8-2. 

A Chinese made prototype steam locomotive is one model I would not mind buying made in china.
