I'll repost her just in case there was an issue:
Here are the instructions for the detector with apologies for the crude diagram. I use the library's computers and they only have PAINT that I could use to create it and it's not an ideal product. If the diagram doesn't come thru email me back with your address and I'll photocopy the page and mail it to you.
BTW: the instructions assume a trannie like a ZW is used since it talks about posts A, B, C, and D
Here are the directions word-for-word:
CAUTION: Wiring diagram
must be followed or unit failure will result. Should you have any questions concerning installation please call us at
516-821-1644 before applying power to a unit.
If the INNER (Center) rail is connected to A, B, C, or D, then the orange wire must go to the inner (center) rail and the black wire to A, B, C, or D. The green wire must go to an outer rail and the red wire to a 'U' post. Jump the fiber pin in the inner (center) rail with a test light. The lamp should not illuminate. If the lamp does illuminate, then there is an incorrect connection to the inner (center) rail.
The 2 white wires are connected to the LED, which illuminates when the block is occupied. If the LED does not light, reverse the white wire connections to the LED. The 3 screw terminals are not powered. The center terminal completes the circuit with the left terminal or the right terminal. The terminals have the following functions:
LEFT TERMINAL RIGHT TERMINAL
Block Occupied - ON Block Occupied - OFF
Vacant block - OFF Vacant block - ON
Power to block off - OFF Power to block off - ON
