I was reading an earlier post about auto racks and it started me thinking. I did some searching but I couldn't find any pictures or posts.
If you have pictures, sources, etc please post them.
Thanks
Jim

That would be a good accessory for us post war modelers.
Jim, this won't be of much help but I came across someone who scratch built one. I believe it was either O gauge 2 rail or three rail and it actually raised and lowered like the real one. Not sure if I saw it on the forum or in a magazine .....Paul
Way back in the late 90's/earlier 00"s I believe in one of the OGR/CTR mags an individual took some road race track and modified it to fit his auto racks. I used to keep lots of articles back then for futher research but its all gone now----how much can you keep---but see--now something someone could use---!!
Stu Gralnik, a forum sponsor, builds these. I bought one and have it on my layout. Check out this thread.

Thanks, I have sent Stu an email.
Brian Traindiesel's picture nails the modern look and real world technique of the loading/unloading process.

Hi Jim, here is a link to the tread I started when I scratch built mine.
A good friend of mine built this for my Auto Rack area. This one is O scale. I looked for years trying to find one.
