Thinking about putting one of these on my future layout and have some questions about both.

1. Are they interchangeable?

2. What's the height clearance of the Lionel City Traction Operating Trolley Barn (6-22199)? I'm thinking about using it with the MTH trolleys. Probably use the Bachmann or Lionel Superstreets for the trolley track rather than FasTrack.

How do you guys put bumpers on those Superstreets?  I would think a lot bumpers would come off that stuff?

Lionel - at one time - sold a bumper (6-22379), but the roadway has skid marks just before the bumper which to me would look odd(?):

6-22379

I guess you could use a transition track - transitioning to FasTrack and then use one of the FasTrack bumpers, but to me that change in track would also look odd:

6-12035:

6-12035-A

6-120059:

6-12059

I use the K-Line bumpers, the ones with "Fence".  They are still available on the secondary market.  The fence is plastic which fatigues with bump and go cycles.  You can also smash into it and break it.

The K-Line and EZ Streets are interchangeable as already mentioned.   However the selection of components made by each brand is not the same.   For example K-Line makes "Y" and EZ does not.  I'd go with EZ Streets since it is in production unless K-Line has a component you can't do without.

Which "K-Line bumpers with the 'fence" are you referring to? Do you have an SKU? Not seeing that in the K-Line E-Z Streets listing.

Also, anyone have the links to the PDFs of Lee's two books about Superstreets? Did a search of the forum and nothing turned up.
