A few years ago, Scale Rail invited me to go with him on a filming excursion of the SP 2472.  It was just the steam locomotive, a caboose and a GP7.  We did a lot of filming...from all different angles...including the tender.  It was a lot of fun...and a once in a lifetime treat for me.  Thanks, Scale Rail.  I miss those trips with you!  Matt

Really great photos.  Never was fan of SP power but your shots could convert me.  that little Pacific is really pretty.  And, I particularly envy you for having spent time with our fellow Milwaukee Road guy, Scale Rail.  Look forward to meeting him, sometime, if he ever gets off of that island where he's being held hostage.  He needs to be somewhere where there are railroads.
