B&O EM-1 Tender Decals

Just curious, what part of the Sunset lettering is incorrect?  I have some decals for the T-4.  Would those be correct?  I actually have the EM-1 decals as well so I could compare them, but I would have to know what I'm looking for.

I have lots of yellow BALTIMORE AND OHIO decals.  I doubt they are any better than Sunset, but you are welcome to a pair.

They are identical to these - and I do know B&O had no PAs.

Last time I checked The Forest Hill Station in Forest Hill, MD, had Champ E6D decals that sre correct for the EM-1. 410-893-1089

The Standard B&O Steam Loco set has a "Baltimore and Ohio" that looks right on the EM-1 tender. The decal set has at least three different layouts of "Baltimore and Ohio".  The longest one measures out very close to the correct size.   The font and lettering size on the Sunset EM-1 as it came is incorrect.

I used decal remover and managed to lift the lettering off of the tender without destroying the black finish and applied the Champ decals.  It looks much better now.  I did this some years ago when th model first came out.  The Sunset lettering really looked wrong.

Thanks to all for your posts. I ordered two sets of decals from Charlie Z. at Forest Hill Station. He had the "E6" decal which was described as "B&O steam loco decals", so I should be OK.

Now I have another question...to rrjjf.

What decal remover did you use? i am not familiar with any.....

I used Polly S "Easy Lift Off" Paint and Decal Remover P/N 542143.  It comes in a 1/2 pint container.

I used the lettering from a Champ Set E-6D (D for Dulux Gold).  If you are going to use a set of E-6 decals they are Bronze Gold.  I don't know how they will match up with the color of the lettering on the locomotive.  I have the words "Baltimore And Ohio" in the correct font for the EM-1 tender left over from a couple of E-6D sets that I ised for other projects requiring some of the other fonts on the decal sheet.  If you email me you address, I will mail them to you.  YOu are welocme to them.  I will never use them.
