Is there any where I could acquire in S scale a car similar to the B&O M-53 Wagon top Boxcar?
Any help is appreciated. However, if my only choice is an extremely high priced brass version I'll have to settle for what I have. I'm too cheap for brass cars.

As I recall, the Roundhouse HO model is of a Pennsy prototype...
Smoky Mountain Model Works made a urethane kit for the B&O wagon top boxcar several years ago, they are taking reservations for another run. I've had one on my to-do list for about the same amount of time.

Lehigh Valley Models had a craftsman kit for one, mostly scale, but useable with Flyer trucks & couplers for hi-rail. They may still be available as pre-owned or used but unbuilt kits if you look around.
