I'm working on the country side of my layout. Have white fences, but that's not country stuff. How do you make realistic "bob ware fences?" Thought about dowell pins, but attaching wire is questionable. I'm sure at least one of you gurus know how to do it, so lay it on me - please.

I wrapped fine gauge wire around horizontal grooves cut in dowell pins on my first layout 28 years ago. May have used a pinhole lens to take this photo back in the analog age, given the depth of field. Appears that Gale Force Nine in the post above would do the trick today. A little brown and grey paint mix for the fence posts may help, too.
