Can some nice person tell me the approximate figure size of each category above?

Many Barclay figures are 3 inchs high or about twice as big as O scale (1/4 inch to the foot). You tell my what scale that is. Probably 1/2 inch to the foot.
I have lots of them, WW1 soldiers, police men, fire men, cowboy, horses, indians they have been in my family for over 100 yrs
Some on third shelf down

When you go to the website, after you click on the image it will give you a description including the height of that figure. Most large figures are 3”, winter figures are 2 3/4” and midi figures are 2 1/4” but they vary a little. You will not be disappointed, they always look much better than the image shown. barclaycompany.com
Which looks most proportional to a 3 rail scale layout?
On their web site the drop down under figures lists "Classic O Scale" as a category.
They also have a classic O scale line and most of those figures are 1-1/2 inches tall which in the o scale world equals 6 feet tall. Most people that use Barclay figures are placing them on a tinplate layout. I don’t believe that I have ever seen them used in a scale setting, but with a shot of dullcoat I am sure they would look okay.
Keep in mind that these figures are representative of what you would find when walking into your local five and dime in the twenties through the sixties. They are a very high gloss and look fantastic if you are trying to replicate a tinplate layout from that time period.
